Sorry for everyone about my comments I left in spite. But seriously, though... Halo 3. I played it for about an hour, and talked about the first hour of gameplay. Fun. That's all I'll say, not the other things I said. Seriously, Halo 3 though...

...IT IS A GAME. Video. Game. And if you are going to get THIS worked up over a video game, that's not fine at all. Just realise that if you ask me politely to stop talking, I will. But no, people got too worked up over this.

Master Chief has the following things happen to him depending on what difficulty you play, and here's the whole shabang:
When they arrive on the newly built Halo, they quickly discover thatGravemind is still alive, attempting to reconstruct himself on the newHalo. The Chief, the Arbiter, and Sergeant Johnson quickly make theirway to the control room, where they attempt to fire Halo. Guilty Sparkrealizes that this will destroy his new ring because it is not fullyready yet, and kills Sergeant Johnson as he tries to activate the ring.The Master Chief destroys Guilty Spark, activates the ring, and barelymanages to escape with the Arbiter on The Dawn, an UNSC ship.

So yeah. The posters say "Sexual Orientation Isn't A Choice." But if I recall correctly, isn't there some scientists who are trying to help moms make their chidlren gay or straight if they want at birth (and yes I do realise the link isn't that great of a reference, but it was one of the first few I found on google so there). So sure, while it might NOT be a choice, for others in the future, it might. So while it might not be a choice, it soon might be. Got to just love science. Also this is just along there with those "Gay Pride" or "Black History Month" type events. We're all equal, so you should just treat people that way. If they're stupid, well, make fun of'em for being stupid. If they're gay or black or something else, that's just a coincidence. Quite possibly the greatest show relating to food. There's something about the capers that Meatwad, Fryloc, Master Shake, and Carl get into that just make me laugh. Also whenever I'm in Penticton, one of the neighbours of the house my parents rent out there (in the scungy part of town heh) reminds me of Carl. Except his car isn't "2 Wycked." Also I'm le emo tear because the movie, we're going to have to wait 'till a DVD release to see it up here at this rate. ;_;

sociology of deviance:
Paul Brady. One of the funniest teachers I've ever had. Not to mention you actually learned stuff from him. There's nothing like commiting acts of deviance *after* being in one of his classes. After his exam, 6 of us went to play hackeysack on private property... and talked to a security guard for a long time and explained we were doing a sociological experiment. On deviance. *laughs* Yes, we're lame. That class had so many good memories.

So, what's happened lately? I've got to write a 3-page propaganda and persuasion assignment for tomorrow, meaning I have to give a speech. It'll be a helluvalot of no fun at all.

Anyways, the flague's mostly out of my system which is always a plus, I worked way too much on a project due next week that I need to really haul ass on an assignment that's actually due for tomorrow. Also, today, met a real asshole at poker and he got so pissed off it caused him to lose only because of my unorthodox playstyle. 1) How the hell does Grandmaster Flash get into the rock and roll hall of fame, but YES doesn't? It's a crime I tell you. Grandmaster Flash is a biter, YES made awesome f*cking songs.

2) Seattle lost today again due to bad officiating. On the plus side, it was only in the fourth quarter. Now that I've got access to the 60" HDTV, I can be better than any of those refs. Not that great, but fortunatley I'll still have somehow a good enough GPA to get into SFU or UBC with a B or B+ average this term coming up. So it will be great to go to Vancouver. Just as people from Vancouver go to Victoria for school, I'll do what the Victoria people do. Go to Vancouver. Just to get away, but Victoria's close enough if I need to escape for a few days.

But... the big news... my parents decided to get a christmas gift for themselves. Such an unholy behemoth in our living room now. It's a 60" Rear Projection HDTV, can do up to 1080i/1080p resolutions... I think christmas eve or sometime soon, you guys will see screenshots of CSS running off of it. *drools* So now it's time for me to go to work in a few hours. It's been rediculously busy due to our department being pretty badly understaffed. Only about half the people neccesary. Wouldn't surprise me if a few TVs or DVD players have been stolen during the 6hrs I was there. That's life I suppose.
